Christmas in Cooroy reels in Christmas in style on the first weekend of December this 2018, marking its 14th big community event. After the lighting of the famous Studio Steel Christmas tree (one of the best Christmas trees in the region!) on Friday, November 30, Christmas in Cooroy will host one whole weekend (December 1 and December 2) of festive fun for all the family, including Cooroy Fish ’n’ Chips Sack Races, Cooroy Rag Free Rides and Amusements, and the John Madill Toyota Animal Farm. There’ll also be Madill Holden 4WD Mini Jeeps, free popcorn by The Leather Doctor, and SPV Accounting Face Painting, providing lots to do for couples and families with kids!
Don’t miss the Bendigo Bank Street Parade as well as the Bentleys Great Santa Stroll, plus The Shed @ Cooroy & Cooroy Computers East v West Tug of War, prize giving, Gelignite Jacks Santa’s Visit, live music with Smokin’ Mirrors, and a whole host of food and market stalls to browse. The two-day event will end with Cooroy RSL Fireworks to go out with a colourful bang for the start of Christmas!
