A member of the Association of International Marathons and Road Races (AIMS), 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon will be held amidst the breathaking coastline of Alexandra Headlands, with a flat course and perfect weather conditions that are perfect for the sport.
The three-day marathon will be comprised of a full 42-km marathon, 21-km half marathon, and 10-km, 5-km, and 2-km fun run categories, along the scenic beachfront course. The wide range of race categories will enable the participants to choose one that best suits their ability and age. The 2-km event allows parents with prams and wheelchair entrants to take part and soak up the atmosphere. Round up your friends and get to enjoy all the free fun in the family entertainment precinct. Organisers of the fifth edition are looking to raise $250,000 for charity this year.
